Dr. David Monroe
About Dr. Monroe
Dr. David Monroe received his Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Visual Sciences from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 1989. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
The aspect Dr. Monroe particularly enjoys about being an Optometrist is being able to provide comprehensive eyecare services to his patients. His special areas of interest are in dry eye treatment and medical eyecare services.
Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, Dr. Monroe now resides in Plum Boro, Pennsylvania, with his wife and their three children.

We are excited to announce a partnership with Optometry Giving Sight in an effort to provide 20,000 children in developing countries eye care. We recognize that sight can make the difference between a life of poverty and a life of opportunity. Your purchase of contact lenses or eyeglasses allow us to donate and support child eye health projects funded by Optometry Giving Sight to ensure children have opportunities in the future.
This initiative is a collaboration of like-minded practices and select industry partners who have chosen to work with Optometry Giving Sight because of their commitment to effective, inclusive, and sustainable eye health initiatives for individuals and children around the world, regardless of their economic status or geographical location. Optometry Giving Sight currently funds projects in 37 countries.
